Inner peace has become a new type of luxury.
Sometimes peace is all around and we miss it when we need it the most. You need to will yourself into that state. Sometimes peace is letting out your frustration and anger to make room for love and tranquility. Peace is being in the moment and open to receive what life is giving you, never closing yourself due to fear. In this body of work, fear does not exist. Peace is a feeling we can access at any moment.
My use of water as an underlying theme is my mental image of peace. In my mind I am floating on water and my ears are submerged the water. All sound is blocked and the sounds of waves are the only audio I have to focus on. I am instantly transformed to another place and in that silence I can do anything.
